Dave GalloDavid Gallo is Director of Special Projects at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. For the past 25 years David has been at the forefront of ocean exploration, having recently served as co-expedition leader on a mapping mission to RMS Titanic and co-leader of the successful search for the missing aircraft, Air France 447.
David is passionate about exploring planet earth and about the relationship between humanity and the sea. This presentation will review some of the most recent oceanographic discoveries and will introduce the audience to the next generation of technologies that will lead us into the future of ocean exploration.
Speakers will begin at 7pm on the designated date in the TI Founders IMAX® Theater. Ticket holders of Speaker Series can enjoy Planet Shark: Predator or Prey before the event and after, until 9pm. Presented in partnership with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), MNS brings you field experts in exciting fields of oceanography.
